I’m baaaack, with another completely original post that I haven’t ever done before, it’s dun dun dun BROW PRODUCT REVIEW. To be precise, The Body Shop 3 in 1 brow definer.
This time, it’s a 3 in 1 brow pencil from my favs The Body Shop. This brow definer comes with a handy spoolie attachment to the lid, a hair colour pencil on one end, and a pearlescent highlighter on the other end.
“An eyebrow pencil, brush and a highlighter all in one, this smart styling tool is all you need for dramatic, defined eyebrows. Creating beautiful brows is now easier than ever!
- Eyebrow pencil, brush and highlighter in one
- Available in three natural shades
- Dermatologically tested
- Ophthalmologically tested”
You can shop this pencil for £9 in 3 colours, which is great for me, but light/medium/dark brown, that range hasn’t got the backs of my auburn angels or epic ebonys.
I am a loyal, faithful follower of all things The Body Shop, so dissing the colour selection killed me. But I can always be relied upon to give an honest review so I say to The Body Shop baby I love you, work on the colours maybe xx
Absolute WHY BROW
I can easily sharpen an eyebrow pencil at least 4 times per use, 2 times per brow. As you can imagine I get through pencils like a primary school. When I felt myself feeling the need to really be firm with this product and repeat the strokes over and over again, I was expecting to need to sharpen it soooo many times, I was so pleasantly surprised though when I looked at the pencil, the nib had barely been depleted so it stayed sharp enough to do a whole eyebrow with without sharpening. I felt the need to be quite firm because the formula felt very dry and I’d have benefited from getting the darker shade. I did love the very neutral undertone of the pencil, it wasn’t too ashy or too warm at all which is always great for a brow product.
After filling my brows, and setting them using my The Body Shop clear mascara/brow gel (great fyi!), I tidied them up using concealer and an angled brush as I normally would. I then used the pearlescent highlighter end to define my arch. I loved this formula, very soft and creamy, with a very subtle buildable highlight depending on what you like.
Hi Brow!
After a day out shopping and being absolutely battered by Storm Gareth and his tantrum, my brows had barely budged. I mean I was a bit windswept but the majority of the colour was still in place, and most of the hairs fixed to place too. If you pay out for a higher end product, and you’re looking to be more purse friendly this is a great option for a middle of the road priced brow product. Don’t forget it’s also cruelty free, and there’s always a tone of discount codes available on The Body Shop, online or in store.
Bye Brow
