Since switching my diet up to alkaline, I’ve done my research on what alcohol is best to have, because we all need a treat from time to time!
As it goes, there’s no such thing as a healthy alkaline alcohol, who’d have thunked it! But combing alkaline principles, with the least naughty alcohols, I decided what I can have.
SPOOKTACULAR!

I was so happy to stumble across Cranes, looking for bloggers to review their liqueur. Before replying to their request, I quickly visited their website to see what their principles were, would it be suitable for me? Oh the joy at finding that all Cranes products are “made from natural ingredients, resulting in Cranes Liqueur being gluten-free and suitable for vegans.” Cranes is a British brand, created by twin brothers Ben and Dan, with ciders and gin available too, very tasty!
I put their Cranberry and Orange Liqueur to the test, in some cocktails I made up myself, I prefer a drink I can enjoy without shuddering at the alcohol kick, so I use plenty of mixers. If you don’t like my ideas, here is 4 blends approved by the Cranes Clan!
