“Empowered women, empower women”
In a round about way, it is kind of an eye roller right? You log in to Facebook and see someone who is an absolute TOAD share this when you know full well, she is not empowering ANYBODY. Womanifest is an empowerment and lifestyle show, that was held in Manchester in March 2020 by Ladies Life Lounge – I hope they do another one.
What if though, there’s a network of women, who actually are empowered, who are ready and willing to help you find the tools, to pick yourself up, shake off the cobwebs of self doubt and bring out your inner power Queen – however she may look.
To me, empowering myself and others is about truth. I want to encourage myself and others to be true to ourselves, our own dreams and desires, while rejecting what (or who!) doesn’t work for us. Thats why in 2020, I am fully embracing the best revival of Girl Power since Baby, Gerri and the gang hit us with it in ’95.
That’s why, in March, I’ll be spending the weekend in Manchester, at Womanifest. “Womanifest is for women who want more from life! It’s a festival of all things womanly, female and feminine. It’s no boring conference or exhibition – it’s all about women having fun, learning how to put themselves first, get what they want, surround themselves with other fantastic women and have access to a huge range of learning and expertise that can help them to make changes in their life and feel inspired” Sometimes, we all need a lift, who better to lift you up than sisters from other misters!?
I can’t wait to go and be enveloped in a sea of feminine positivity and love. I am ready to hear inspiring stories from women overcoming adversity, giving me goal getter tips, or even “menopause to pelvic floor (fix your fanny) masterclasses”. If you’re lady looking for guidance in any area of your life, this event is going to be for you!
